Why do it?

It’s so easy to get caught up in the routine of everyday life that finding time to care for yourself falls to the bottom of the to-do list. But it is essential to find moments, however brief, to focus on your well-being. Self care can be a protective barrier against triggers that lead to anxiety or depression or it can form an important part of the recovery process from a mental illness. It can increase feelings of self-worth and self-awareness and provide an opportunity for reflection and relaxation.
